System Features

SafeLink®

Our patented digital SafeLink FM technology protects against false activation caused by stray radio signals. FM technology is less prone to interference than other brands' AM systems, making DogWatch the most secure hidden fence available.

FastReact®

DogWatch has the fastest reaction time in the industry. If your dog runs at the boundary, the receiver reacts with the warning signal before he reaches the wire, not while he is traveling over it.

Longest Battery Life

All DogWatch Hidden Fence collars have a longer battery life than other brands. The R12 collar has a battery life of up to 2 years, and our R12mini has a 6-month battery. Other brands usually need a new battery every 3-4 months. Fewer batteries are good for your wallet and better for the environment. And, most importantly, safer for your pet!

Receiver Status Light

The unique multi-function status light on the receiver lets you know if the battery is low or needs to be replaced.

Audible Warning Alert

The DogWatch 1200Fence includes an audible warning signal to alert your dog that he is approaching the boundary. Your pet quickly learns to stop at the warning signal – before he reaches the hidden wire.

High Impact, Waterproof

The DogWatch R12 and R12mini receivers are tested to withstand the harsh outdoor elements of rain, sleet and snow, as well as rigorous play!

Lightning Protection

DogWatch Hidden Fences include the very best lightning/surge protection available as a standard feature. External protection directs power surges and lightning away from your home; internal protection suppresses surges coming in through your house wiring.

Range Setting

You can easily adjust the width of the signal (the ‘signal range’) on your 1200Fence to meet the needs of your pet and the size of your yard. If there is a wire break, a warning alarm alerts you to check the system. This is an invaluable safety feature for underground fences.

Flexible Training Levels

The 1200Fence receiver collar includes four easy-to-understand and adjustable training levels plus an ‘audible only’ feature to ensure safe and appropriate training and containment for pets of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities.

Proven Training Program

DogWatch provides a step-by-step training guide that includes visual recognition of boundary flags, learning to retreat from the audible warning signal and learning that there is an unpleasant sensation if they cross the boundary.

Flexible, Affordable Containment Areas

Over the river and through the woods? Backyard only . . . but not the pool and flower garden? No problem! You can easily customize your fence to fit your property. DogWatch hidden fences are more flexible and less expensive than a traditional fence. And your dog can’t jump over, dig under or chew through it!

Works for Cats (and More!)

All DogWatch products are effective for cats, too! Use one system for cat and dog containment. DogWatch also works for other pets too, including pigs, goats, sheep, and more! Read more.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dog watch of Southeast Indiana installed an unground fence at our house that covers almost an acre of freedom space for all our pups. They were fantastic explaining the product/s available and how they would work for our dogs and our yard. They shared information about up and coming products and talked through how those would or wouldn't work with current products. They were much more concerned with getting us in the right product for our family and pups than just making the sale. When it came to installation they were flexible, informative and transparent. We had some issues with lines that had not been marked through 811, they were wonderful in working with us to make sure the work was done as quickly as possible but making sure it was right first. I couldn't recommend them any more to anyone looking for an underground fence.

Thank-you to giving me the “ peace of mind” of having my dog successfully contained.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The team was very helpful in choosing which system would be best for our 3 full size Collies and our Great Bernese mountain dog that love to roam the steep countryside where we live. The DIY system we had previously did nothing but keep them from returning home after they left the perimeter.I can honestly say after just one lesson our dogs have not left the yard since. Dog watch was a fantastic investment.
